Roger McDonald has been a principal partner of Tucker Boynton since 1994. Roger provides comprehensive wealth management, retirement planning, and risk management services to his individual and corporate clients. Prior to joining the firm, he was senior vice president of Barclays Bank, PLC. He holds an MBA with a concentration in finance and investments from George Washington University and an accounting degree from the University of Tennessee. He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Roger, a native of Kingsport, Tennessee, enjoys cheering for the U.T. Vols and playing racquetball with his “younger” friends. He has served in various capacities in his church, but his first love is teaching younger families. He also serves families impacted with disabilities through Joni & Friends – in the United States with “Family Retreats” and internationally with “Wheels for the World.” He and Jerilyn have been married since 1982 and have awesome children, Jon (wife Melissa) and Allison (husband Brittian), cute grandchildren Ellis and Phoebe, and fun-loving “grand-dogs,” Arty and Zoe.
